QC Engineer
The candidate must be a B.E. Civil or Diploma Civil with good knowledge of IS codes, Design mix, etc. with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
Job role:
Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures. Create and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) for the project. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the QMS to ensure its effectiveness.
Quality Control (QC)
Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure they meet quality standards. Conduct tests and inspections of materials and workmanship at various stages of the construction process. Identify non-conformance issues and work with project teams to implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Compile and submit quality reports to senior management and clients. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality standards are understood and met. Communicate quality issues and progress to project stakeholders. Facilitate regular quality meetings and briefings with project teams.
Training and Development
Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Promote a culture of quality within the organization. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and quality management practices.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management
Manage and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers and subcontractors.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in quality management software and tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
Soft Skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
