Jr. Engineer
B.E. Civil 5 years OR Diploma Civil 8 years’ experience, capable of handling site execution work, quantity workout etc. Proficiency in computers is a must.
Job role:
Assisting with Project Planning
Assist in drawings, and specifications. Conduct basic design calculations and preliminary analyses.
Site Support
Stay at site to assist in monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Help identify and report any issues or discrepancies on-site.
Technical Support
Provide technical support to senior engineers and project managers. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation. Help troubleshoot and resolve engineering and technical issues.
Quality Control
Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures. Conduct basic inspections and tests to ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards. Help document and report non-conformance issues.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and records of meetings. Assist in preparing and submitting required reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.
Communication and Coordination
Coordinate with various project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Attend project meetings and assist in documenting discussions and decisions. Facilitate communication between the project team and other departments.
Learning and Development
Seek feedback from senior engineers and supervisors to improve skills and knowledge.
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project) and MS Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior engineers.
